Two Bus Accidents Occur within Minutes of Each Other
In a strange turn of events, news sources in the area reported that there were two bus accidents within a few minutes of one another, but the collisions were completely unrelated.
The first accident happened on a busy intersection with a bus carrying forty four students. Police reports show that the bus was struck in the side by a small white passenger car. The bus driver, along with three of the students inside, received injuries severe enough to warrant a trip to the hospital say police.
Just three minutes later, a second school bus collided with a SUV driven by a 25-year-old man. The 25-year-old was brought to the same hospital as the other bus accident victims with serious injuries. Reports indicate that his condition is unknown at this time.
The driver of the second bus and six students, ages 5 to 10, also sustained injuries as a result of the subsequent crash. At this time, the police department is still investigating both incidents and say that no charges have been filed yet.
