Wynn Exec Dies From Head Injury, Alcohol

Last month a Wynn Las Vegas executive suffered a catastrophic injury in her home that resulted in her death.

After an investigation, the Clark County Coroner's Office determined that Sharla Perry, 41,  died of an accidental blow to her head while under the influence of alcohol. Her body was found February 11th after her mother reported her missing.

The coroner released a report that stated a blunt force trauma to the head and acute ethanol and isopropanol intoxication caused her death. The coroner stated that chronic alcohol abuse was a contributing factor in her death, which was ruled an accident.

Whenever alcohol is involved in an accident that causes a serious injury or death, it is always a tragic event. In some cases, these accidents just happen and there is nothing that can really be done to prevent them. In certain other cases however, such as with slip and falls, it may be determined that the accident was preventable if other events occurred, such as if a store clerk sold alcohol to an obviously intoxicated individual, or if the property on which a person suffered an injury was not well maintained.

At the De Castroverde Law Group we can investigate your case, and if a wrongful death is discovered, we will fight aggressively to hold those liable for the death responsible for their actions or negligence.
