Las Vegas Beltway Accident Victim's Identity Released
Police have finally released the identity of the motorcyclist who lost his life last week on the Las Vegas beltway.
The official reports show that Timothy Lunde, 34, was heading south on the Beltway near the Lake Mead Boulevard exit when he lost control of his motorcycle. As a result, he and his bike struck a metal barrier, killing Lunde immediately. His passenger, a 13-year-old boy, received non-life-threatening injuries and was treated shortly after at a local hospital.
The motorcycle accident is still under investigation by the Nevada Highway Patrol.
