Rear End Collision with Ambulance Sends Two Firefighters to Hospital
An ambulance was responding to a crash on Summerlin Parkway Sunday night when it was rear-ended by another vehicle. Two firefighters in the vehicle were injured, though they were wearing their seat belts and their injuries weren't serious. The auto accident occurred as they were exiting the road to assist the car that was initially in a crash.
The two firefighters who sustained injuries were transported to University Medical Center. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured in the accident, and the individuals involved int he accident to which the ambulance was responding were not injured either.
Depending on the cause of the crash, the driver of the offending vehicle could be held responsible for the damages he or she caused, if the victims of the accident decided to recover compensation by filing a personal injury claim.
