Hit and Run Accident Injures Motorcycle Driver
David Maifield, a 48 year old motorcycle driver, was rear ended on Tropicana Avenue Sunday morning. He was taken to University Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition.
Maifield was driving a homemade motorcycle and following his friend when a white sedan, possibly a Honda Civic, ran into him and then sped away. Police are still searching for the driver of the white sedan, but do not have any leads.
If the driver is found, he can be held criminally and civilly responsible. In addition to facing criminal charges for hit and run, Maifield or his family may choose to sue for personal injury.
