In the second mysterious NV Energy accident this week, a man was killed in an accident at the Moapa NV Energy power plant on Tuesday.
Tuesday evening, around 5:30 p.m., Las Vegas police were informed of the accident and called to the Reid-Gardner Station, which is a coal-fired plant that is about 50 miles outside of Las Vegas.
Neither police nor NV Energy spokesperson have disclosed the name of the victim, nor the circumstances surrounding his death. OSHA, the Occupational Health and Safety Administration, is conducting an investigation of the accident.
