Life Lost as a Result of a Pedestrian Accident

On Wednesday evening, police reported that a man was killed after he was hit by a vehicle while walking through a crosswalk. The accident occurred on one of the more popular boulevards in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Following the pedestrian accident, the victim was rushed to the trauma center of a nearby medical facility. Despite his death, officers would not release his identity to the public because they were waiting to notify his next of kin.

Police told news sources that the accident took place around 8:49 PM. Allegedly, the driver of the vehicle had been traveling south in the right lane when the collision occurred. The pedestrian was crossing from the median on the north side of the street. Unfortunately, while crossing, the pedestrian was hit.

This accident marks the 66th traffic collision in this particular district, say police.
